Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government-backed grant available to homeowners in England and Wales. It's designed to help you replace your existing gas, oil, or LPG boiler with a low-carbon heating system such as an air source heat pump. The grant is applied directly to your installation cost — it's not a loan and doesn't need to be paid back. Your property will need a valid Energy Performance Certificate issued within the last ten years, and the installation must be carried out by an MCS-certified installer. As an MCS-certified team, REGH Ltd can manage the full process on your behalf, from the initial survey and grant application through to installation and aftercare.

It starts with a free home assessment where we check your property's suitability and talk you through your options. From there, we carry out a heat loss calculation, design the right system for your home, and handle the grant application with Ofgem. Once your voucher is approved, we install your new system, remove your old boiler, and make sure everything is running as it should. Most installations take between two and four days depending on the property, and we keep you informed at every stage.
